Vikcon^®, WPI Viking's new environmentally sealed, circular plastic connectors, are designed for use in harsh environments.
Robust and waterproof, they are corrosion and chemically resistant, designed to operate over a wide temperature range.

The Vikcon^® connector is designed for use in
instrument, medical, control, commercial and
industrial applications.

The Vikcon^® connector is the economical
alternative to costly metal shell environmental connectors.

• Light-weight, sealed, all-plastic connector using dual O-ring sealing (IP68).
• 60 Degree turn coupling ring-locking mechanism.
• 7 x Size 22 mil-spec style, screw machine pin and socket contacts; crimp type (22-26 AWG wire).
• One-piece plastic housing with integral nonmetal electrical contact retainer.
• Corrosion and chemical resistant.
• Various threaded attachment backshell configurations: collet, clamp, tie wrap and potting types—(potted for the highest sealing level).
• Receptacle types: in-line, square flange and bulkhead mount.
• Positive keying and scoop-proof design.
• Temperature range:-40°C to +125°C, autoclavable.

Materials

• Injection molded plastic: Polsulfone/Polycarbonate (black or gray color).
• Brass pin contacts.
• BeCu socket contacts with CRES hood.
• Contact plating: gold (10µIN, 20µIN and 30µIN) over nickel plating.
